When it comes to your heaters, you would not want to be caught off-guard especially with repair and maintenance. A broken down heater or furnace can cause a lot of inconvenience and discomfort for you and your family, especially during the peak cold season.
Ideally, you should get your heater checked out just before you start using it for winter heating. The best time for this is at the tail end of the summer, so that while you still don’t have an urgent need for it, you can already get whatever issue fixed way ahead of winter. It would also be great, as an added maintenance measure, to give it one last thorough look before you shut it down for the warmer months. At least you can get any problems fixed before you shut it down, or be able to anticipate what things you’ll need to get done by way of heating repair in the future.
